Ohh wow it been ages since I posted.

We have been on holiday to Scotland visiting Lyle's family for 10 days. The weather at times was really wet but never mind.

We met our niece Kaydence for the 1st time and she is beautiful. Zoe (Lyle's Sister) and Kaydence are so happy.

While in Scotland we visited the Robert Burns Cottage (his birth place) Kelburn castle (see pic attached), went shopping in Glasgow, Went for a few lovely walks, treated to a posh meal by Lyle's cousin and girlfriend and much more.

Yesterday I received a letter from the hospital for my appointment to see the specialist about my arm. I was very surprised as it it on the 22nd July! The doctor thought it was going to be 4 months! Not complaining though!

Long painful weekend

Friday 13th this time got me. After calling the doctors as instructed to do so he told me to go to A&E as he was concerned there might be something seriously wrong.

I have to praise those at Scunthorpe Hospital I had seen the nurse, Doctor, had x-rays, blood test (with results), seen another Doctor and home with in 4hrs!

They don't know what is wrong as all my tests came back clear, however they suspect carpel tunnel and to go back to my GP so I can be referred to a specialist.

The pain killers really do not agree with me. They are making me quite poorly feeling sick and knocking me out cold. They might not be taking all the pain away but its making it more comfortable. The sooner I come off them the better!

Update on my arm

I went to work as normal called doctors for an emergency appointment the nurse called me back and said get to the surgery for 10am, This was 9:15 this morning and I am a 40 min drive away.

Got there with 5mins to spare for the Doctor to be just as puzzled as me as there is no swelling lumps bruise, I've not fallen or banged it. He has put me on very strong pain killers and anti inflammatory with orders of no work till Monday.

I'm mad with myself as I don't feel ill to be off work. It's driving me mad with boredom because I can't craft (a part from colour things in) to take my mind away from the pain.

Not been to good

Yesterday I started with with pain in my left arm and by tea time I was in so much pain.

During today the pain has got worse to the point were I can hardly use left arm and hand.

My good friends on the forum keep advising me to go to the doc's which i have to give into. No amount of pain killers resting or heat pad is helping.

Once again this evening Lyle is watching the football but due to my arm I can't escape to the world of craft, just my word search book.

On a good note we are due to go to Scotland in a couple of weeks to see Lyle's family which will be great. We will get to see our niece for the 1st time too, see attached pic. She is so cute!

Can't watch TV!

Blooming footie!

All the programmes I want to watch I have to record as he is watch blinking footie.

Anyone think that Scotland are playing with his "need" to watch it (Lyle is a Scot)
Oh well it gives me time to craft not that I need an excuse to do that!

Well today has been such a lovely sunny day it seems a shame I had to work so I enjoyed it through the windows at work. From the weather forecast I have seen its meant to rain tomorrow. I knew the sun was to good to last.

Because I have been at work I've not made any cards as yet today but I have started to stitch a few pictures to make in too cards.

Splish splash

What a beautiful card sunny day!

I hope the weather holds out today. My Auntie has her own computer school and today is the second day of the summer festival in Gainsborough where she has a stall. Yesterday was a bit over cast so I don't think it would have been much fun on the stall.

I thought I would make this card this morning before I go to Mum's for a BBQ! The stitch pattern is a free one I found on an American site. The duck is so cute I had to make him.

Comments welcome

Last night I sat in front of the TV will a few rubber stamps and coloured away. Little Hamish (sugar nellie stamp from Funky kits) was one of those coloured in.
